Zanzibar CIty

Kendwa village is the youthful option for your stay in Zanzibar. Every saturday there is a party in the Kendwa Rocks Hotel. When the Saturday happens to be full moon, the party turns into a full moon party. This is also good to take into consideration in case you do not want to hear the music whole Saturday night.

There are many snorkeling and diving opportunities in Kendwa. The village itself is small, but there are some restaurants and shops outside the hotels. This is the rasta beach of Zanzibar.

NOTE: Don’t book tours through beach boys. They are not the same as tour companies – they don’t pay taxes and have zero responsibility if something happens or the tour doesn’t come true. Also, their knowledge is mostly not on the required level. Please support the lawful businesses and book through dive centers or tour companies.

Ask for tour prices, since they vary based on where you’re staying and how many participants there are.
