Ngezi forest abounds in natural diversity and a wide variety of species of wildlife. You can find colobus monkeys, bush babies, fruit bats, many kinds of exotic birds and butterflies, flowers, and spice plants.
Natural lakes are also a frequent occurrence in Ngezi. You can even find remnants of an old timber business that used to call Ngezi its home.
On request, we can also organize a night walk to see (and especially hear) the wide variety of owls that inhabit Ngezi Forest. Let us know in advance if you’re interested in exploring this magical place after sunset and getting to know its nocturnal life – a truly unique experience you’ll never forget!
